What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google profile information (name, email, profile picture).

When you purchase a license, Stripe processes your payment. We store your Stripe customer ID but never your payment card details.

What we don't collect

We never see your code. Foil runs entirely on your local machine. No source code, scan results, findings, or analysis data is ever sent to our servers. The only communication between your Foil installation and this server is license activation and periodic validation.

How we use your data

  • Email: to identify your account and send license-related communications
  • Stripe customer ID: to manage your subscription
  • Installation ID: to bind licenses to specific machines (a random UUID, not hardware fingerprint)

Data storage

Your account data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted in the European Union (Amsterdam, Netherlands). Data never leaves the EU. We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties except as required by Stripe for payment processing.

Data deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at info@peachstudio.be.
